| Oct 26: Fourth Degree Exemplification, Virginia Beach
http://vakofc.org/exemplifications.html The Exemplification will take place at the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach. I have blocked off 200 rooms for Friday and Saturday night and additional rooms for Thursday and Sunday night for folks who want to spend additional nights. The special rate for the Knights of Columbus is $99 plus taxes. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel and requesting the special Knights of Columbus rate. The telephone number is 1-757-425-8555 or 1-800-446-8199. Again, make sure everyone registers as a member of the Knight of Columbus. Navigators and candidates are encouraged to register as soon as possible as there are two other groups using the hotel facilities that weekend. Reservations must be made as soon as possible but no later than October 12. With regard to Exemplification costs: Candidate costs are set by Supreme (there has been no change): They are $70 and it includes the banquet ticket. Clergy is $60. Ladies Luncheon and Program: Cost is $25 and includes choice of seafood or chicken salad croiussaint, fruit, and potato salad. Banquet: Cost is $50 and the entrée menu choices are: Beef Strip Steak, Dijon Encrusted Chicken Breast, and a Mahi Mahi fish selection. Dinner includes a chef’s choice salad, rolls, butter, potato, vegetable, dessert, iced tea, coffee, etc. |
