Urgent Color Corps Request - National Shrine

Jan 31, 2010 Brothers:

Late yesterday, we received a request to assist with providing a Color Corps for a Mass in Honor of the Canonization of Saint Damien of Molokai this Sunday, January 31, at the Basilica in Washington, DC. The Mass is at 2:00 PM, with a report time of 1:00 PM in the lower level of the Basilica.

I realize that this is a last minute request and appreciate the assistance of any Sir Knight that can be there. Unfortunately, I already have a commitment that will preclude me from attending.

Due to the shortness of time before the event, we will not go through our usual process of going through the District Marshal to get a headcount. Instead, just please ask those members who can be there to show up at the Basilica at 1:00 PM on Sunday.

Attire is full regalia, but no sword.
