The first is this Saturday in Warrenton. We have added an additional color corps certification for Saturday, February 12 in Fairfax, sponsored by Father Malloy Assembly. Complete information is listed below. We now have scheduled five color corps certifications and four commander certifications in January/February 2011. A great way to start the New Year. All Sir Knights should make attending a color corps certification one of their new year’s resolutions. Dress for the certification is casual. SKs who own regalia should bring white gloves, chapeaux, service baldric, and sword. For those SKs without regalia, extra service baldrics and swords will be available. Commanders are encouraged to attend both the color corps certification and the commander’s certification. Dress for the commander’s certification is also casual. In addition to white gloves, service baldric, and sword, commanders should bring their purple chapeaux and cape. The color corps certification is open to all Sir Knights. The commander certification is open to all commanders, assistant/associate commanders, potential commanders, and navigators. All Assemblies are invited to attend any of the certifications. If Sir Knights from your Assemblies plan to attend, please send me approximate numbers by the Thursday before the scheduled certification. Directions for each location are available in the State Directory/web site.
