Corpus Christi Procession - 12:30 Mass - St Mary of Sorrows

Sir Knights in full regalia are needed to lead the Parish procession from the Worship Center to the Historic Church on Sunday June 10. The procession will assemble at the St Mary of Sorrows Worship Center, 5222 Sideburn Rd, Fairfax, VA, following the 12:30 PM Mass. The Procession will leave the Worship Center at 2:00 PM and walk ("process") to the Historic Church by Zion Drive, then Ox Road, approximately two miles. Water will be provided along the way in the event of hot weather. This very public proclamation of Roman Catholicism is particularly important in light of the USCCB's encouragement of acts of religious liberty leading up to Independence Day, July 4. If you are not participating in the Council 8600 Celebrate Fairfax activities on Sunday, and are a member of the 4th Degree, please prayerfully consider participating in the Corpus Christi Procession.
